Hi Barbie, Tim and Alicia- Wanted to say hello and send you a couple of pictures of Kai. It’s hard to believe that almost three years have gone by since he arrived in Maine.
He truly is such a happy and well behaved dog. Kai is so incredible and it’s amazing everyone always says the same things about him: he’s so handsome, he’s so well behaved and he’s so sweet and loving.
My friends say he spoiled, I say he’s loved.
I think this picture might be one reason. Checkout the plate. When it rains, Kai loves to be in the garage and watch it.
This spring I added more yard and Kai supervised, when he wasn’t napping.
Kai means ocean in Hawaiian and true to his name, this dog loves the ocean in our cove especially. Jumps off the rocks going belly flops , rides the waves and yesterday he retrieved the ball a couple of times and then his favorite is for me to throw rocks back and forth and he swims between them for. 45 minutes and is perpetual motion.
I can’t thank you enough for your patience with me while I transitioned from Hawaii and California to Maine and helping me pick out a dog.
Somebody loves the snow too and he always likes to have one close by while he sleeps.
Think he gets a slightly darker coat in the winter. He loves all the seasons .
I know wait, but does it really apply to new toys at Christmas?
If I could only teach him to swim out to that lobster boat and bring dinner back he’d be perfect!
